Facilities

We have the following facilities available:

Mother House

Quinta Travancinha originally consisted of the house and a barn. Both have been thoroughly overhauled. The mother house now contains an apartment (incl. shower/toilet and small kitchen), one floor consisting of kitchen, bathroom, living room and three bedrooms (2x 1 person, 1x double)

Studios

2 studios are available. Both have a double bed, bathroom and a kitchenette.

They are suitable for 1 or 2 people. 

Tenting

During the warmer months, it is also nice to camp out, we have 2 tents available and you can bring your own.

In fact one of the permanent residents lives in a safari tent on the property throughout the year.

There is also ample space for caravans.

At the bottom of the valley along the river Seia there is a lot of space to live outside in a wonderful climate and beautiful nature.

A centrally located building with showers, toilets and a covered outdoor kitchen are also available for our guests.

Volunteering and Work Exchange:  You are required to work 3-5 hours a day in exchange for meals and accommodation.
